A DAY ON THE BAY

The weather man did us in today, but a few brave ones showed up. My favorite sister in law came down with my brother in law Pete and repete. What a treat repete did not like his Wawa breakfast sandwich so he got rid of it, what you see below is mama rubbing poor repeats back. The boy needs to chew better. We anchored up and did manage to capture some trout, blues, and croakers, a mixed bag to say the least. The drum have been off the hook the past few nights so if you are up for the fun , come get ya some.

THE ANDERSON MEN

Tonight is one of my fovorite groups the Anderson men. With the storms all around we sit and wait for the bite, what a night. Alex is here giving us all the entertainment we can handle now that he is 18. Wow I remember when he was just a red head pup of a kid. As of this time 8:15pm the men have 5 drum in the box. Mr. Anderson they are doing you a great justice with the trip this year. We will keep you updated in a few hours with some pictures.
As you can see the men had 5 fish in all with a few that stayed for next year.
Mr. Anderson all I can say is you did a great job with this group. The most fitting way to describe what I see with them is, they are Anderson men true and thru.

2013 DRUM RUN

This is as real as it gets. We are out drumming now and the wind dropped out and a nice night on the bay is here. Now the drum fish are not as willing to enjoy tonight as the 12 fishermen are, but we are still at it. Val form franklinville and Ed from Manuta came down and even though the fishing is slow they are in it for the duration. Chris and dad Carl are back and doing their  thing, Carl is sleeping, I know surprise.  Adam is back to let us know how to do it. All hopes are on Jerry from Fortescue, he caught the first drum of 2012 and we are hopeing for a repeate of that. Still some time to go we will see. Now the rain just set in and the fish are not the only ones wet.
Come on down and have your self some fun on the open boat drum run. Next Wednesday we will be at it again.

THE FIRST SATURDAY OF MAY

Saturday we had some fishermen that wanted to make the trip down to the drum grounds. So off we went to the so called dark side. Nice day to make the ride. Nicole and Chaz from Glassboro NJ were down. I wish I had a picture so all of you could see what we were looking at all day. But at least he held his cookies better than his wife.
As for the fish , what we found were sharks and skates. A charter boat from cape may did have 3 drum and more were caught in the days before. It is getting ready to start.
Remember each Wednesday at 4:00 we are drum fishing. Come on down and get your BOOM on.

IT'S A NEW WEEK

With the weekend gone and a new week starting, the after effects of storms are upon us. The cooler weather is nice, no complaints. Today Monday we did get out and catch some nice fish. The trout bit as well as some blues , and even a few flat flat fish. The weather for the next few days is great. The best advice I can give ya is " come on down and get ya some""

HA HA EVEN ADAM CAUGHT FISH

With all the rain that kept the fishermen home, all I can say is HA HA. What a day it turned out to be. Carl and John did good. John wants to know what up and over means, just ask Chris. Adam and his granddaughter Nicci with her husband Mike from Aston Pa. caught their limit in fine form. Even with Adams fine knot tying. In all a dozen fishermen had a great day on the Delawere Bay.

THIS WEEK

I know it has been a day or two but the fishing has still been good. The blues, trout, and croaks are around. On Wednesday of this week the fish had lock jaw, but today they are back to chewing. Just a real quick thank you to nurse Maggie and her family for a great day, and a job well done from Bob and Michelle. Ray Sharp from The dark side Newark caught a nice 24" rabbit fish. Here are some pictures of the past few days.
