B&B POULTRY

This was the first night trip this year that we did well. The gang from B & B Poultry in Norma went fishing, and yes they did use chicken for bait. To start off we found the blues on top and managed to put some in the box. After getting what they wanted it was time to anchor up and put our efforts toward the croak a doak's . When all was said and done it was a fine catch of fish. What even made this trip better is that we celebrated Mr. Mark's 22 birthday for the 3rd time. Happy birthday Mark. Thanks Mark and Lou for a great time and good eats as well. The smokes were a great addition as well.

VFVFD

Oh boy, they were back and I do not think that the island will be the same again. The group from Valley Forge Fire Co. made the annual pilgrimage to Fortescue. They came in cars, trucks, campers, and oh yea golf carts. Just take a look at the picture , what a bunch. With that being said it is over, no more needs to be explained, finished, kuput. It is always a blast with you guys. Keep up the fine job that you are doing in Valley Forge.

HERE FISHEY FISHEY FISHEY

This is a few days all wrapped up. It goes from the good to the bad to the ugly. Some days the fluke want to show themselves. On one of those days the famous crab lady Cindy found two nice ones to stuff with some of her fine crab only available at Moms. Her dad Teddy is still a local commercial crabber at the age of 88. Norm and Pat were down again and had a fine day, I was great to see you guys again. The blues made a appearance this past week, not in a big way but we found them. Some of the last few days have been tough and we do wonder what he *&@# are we doing, but we stick it out and make a day of it. As for the croakers, they are starting to show up. The size has been in the 10" to 12" area, no big numbers in the upper bay area but enough to make a catch. Hope you all can come on down and catch a few.

Mr. Anderson and Family

Finely, another year with the Anderson family. This trip was the grand kids and great grand kids. When you have a group like the Anderson's you know that it will be a great time. The only problem was that someone forgot to let the fish know that we were out fishing and the catch was way off , but we were out their doing what we wanted to do as Al might say.We all came to the conclusion that Alex does like to go fishing, and Britnay likes fishing as well. Over time, I have said many times what a pleasure this family is, it can not be said enough. It goes to show us how important family is and it is the small things in life that make a difference. Thank you the Anderson family.
